The Dolphin Way
This is Castro’s Positive Behavior System. The school has 4 basic expectations of all Castro Dolphins: Be safe. Be responsible. Be Respectful. Be Perseverant. Students follow these expectations every day and across the school. The Dolphin Way matrix gives more specific expectations for each area of the school, and our students have already been taught all of the expectations.
When students do not meet expectations, we reteach the expectations and assign consequences that match the expectation and help the student repair any damage created by not following the expectations. When students do follow the expectations, the staff will recognize them with Dolphin Dollars that can then be traded in for prizes at our Dolphin Treasure Chest store that offers fun games and toys.
