The Wellness Center on campus provides a calming, safe space for students to regulate emotions, along with providing individual and group counseling. The Wellness Center is made possible through the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP Grant) and the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

Avelina Charles, Wellness Specialist
Hi, I am Ms. Avelina! I am so happy and proud to be part of the Castro Dolphins! I have both my bachelor's and master's degree in Social Work. I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) clinician and have dedicated my career to working with youth in both crisis and school settings.
Jackie Ruvalcaba, Wellness Liaison
Hi, I am Ms. Jackie! I am so excited to be joining the Castro team! I have my bachelor's degree in Psychology and have been working with elementary students in different capacities for over 10 years. I am bilingual (English-Spanish).
